Updating Company website
First of all, merry christmas all.
Secondly, I've been updating the Exxica website a lot lately. Added loads of new features:
- Made it more of a showcase/sales site than a blog. So had to buy a theme (thanks to WooThemes.com) that was more sales oriented.
- Custom made pages: Store, Download, Cart (Under construction).
- Made ready for DIBS payments by adding functions to the code.
See all the features at www.exxica.com.
Update
I'm still working hard on my project and I am unable to work on these side projects so much - so the D2RWC haven't seen much progress. I don't know when I'll continue.
New features
Added a nice new feature. For random people to comment on my topics, much like a so-called blog. It has CAPTCHA installed for anti-spam bot prevention and IP and host name tracking.
PS. The function is not quite finished yet, Norwegian letters like: ÆØÅ doesn't work properly.

Implemented features:
- Links database: every news item may have a related link, and every link that is linked to in a news item is added to the Links site. This Links site will also contain some other - not news related - links.
- Updated welcome message
- Updated menus: used to be hardcoded, is now database driven.
- Made CAPTCHA module for encoding e-mails. See Contact site.
- Added 'Hack attempt' table in the database: all activity that is not authorized is recorded into a table (IP , date and hostname is recorded)
Adding some features
Currently I'm working on adding some features to the site, such as:
- Images to encode e-mails(Anti-Spam Protection)
- External Link database
- More advanced login for admin
- Easier maintenance/more functions for admin
Some features have already been installed, and some I'm working on.
Security fix
Updated Administrator link at the bottom. It is now working as intended, with the security needed to keep it up and unavailable for unauthorized people.
More content will be added as soon as I have time to add some.
Changes
Removed some broken links and such, working on more content. Content like my previous assignement, programs and such that I've created, etc.
Redesigned site
Redesigned the site, seems it was very slow to load because of the large hi-quality menu image, so removed it and the footer image. Should load faster now.
